I'm a contractor that worked with Shane. I arrived on site today only to find that Shane had passed. Always a smile from a nice guy. Incredibly Sad.

Sincere condolences to friends and family for your loss.

Shane it was an honour knowing you, it toke you 5 years to finally except me into your amazing family and it wasn't until a certain stag dou to benidorm where you had no choice but to let your guard down and show me the real you that you finally thought this kid might be alright!

Ever since that trip you've been nothing short of amazing to me, the moments we've shared together I will cherish forever, I was proud to call you one of the boys and all my mates agreed , you were and always will be one of the lads!

I promise to take care of Chantelle, Penelope and any future grandchildren of yours for a lifetime and try to instill the love, laughter and values into my family as you did yours!

Rest easy Shane!

Your now official and favourite son in law ! Jake x.

Dad, words will never describe how much you will be missed and how utterly heartbroken you’ve left us girls. You were our family and now we have to try and navigate life with a big gap in it. I will try and find some comfort that you will forever be in our hearts, everyday I will think about you, and everyday I will tell Penelope how much of an amazing man you were, husband, friend, dad, Grampy. Your service truly showed how much hearts you had touched and how much people thought of you. You were a social butterfly that just lit up any room you walked into, you always had a bubbly presence about life and wanted to enjoy every single second. I am broken I never got to show you the gym equipment we had planned, but I’m glad we squeezed in another squash session recently. I am broken for mum, but us girls will do everything in our power to treat, carry and do everything you did for her. Unfortunately, none of us can cook, wish you had shown us all your secret recipes! I hope you can watch down on us everyday dad and we can continue to make you proud. I hope you were watching down on our wedding day that you were so so excited for, it was heartbreaking not to have you part of it, but you were filled in my heart every second of the day. I love you so much dad, always will, forever and always! Life is cruel xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Shane,
It's taken a while for me to process, and I hope you rest well after a fitting send off.
The tributes read and the ceremony itself were something that showed the impact you had on so many peoples lives.
In just the short time of 2-3 years working with you at HFL, you made a huge impression on me that will never be forgotten. You put your trust in me, and I hope I repaid the favour.
Besides work chat, I will forever miss our conversations on culinary skills and hobbies etc.
I will certainly miss your offer of saving me some of this years "deep fried turkey" on Christmas day.
You were not only my boss, you were my friend.
Until we meet again,
Owen xxx
