John was the Managing Director of Ashton Vernon Builders' Merchant and later worked with Keyline and Joseph Parr. He was a current member of the Old Boys' and Park Green Club, Macclesfield Rugby Club, Prestbury Golf Club, Prestbury Cricket Club, and Wilmslow Rugby Club. John will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Due to current restrictions a private funeral service will take place. A memorial service will be announced when circumstances permit. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the Christie NHS Foundation Trust.
