MaryCUNLIFFEYou were the one constant in our lives - we always knew that whatever happened you were there, doing your best for us and making us feel safe and secure. You made so many sacrifices to ensure we had all we needed and always put our needs before yours.
We didn't have a lot of material things but you gave us life gifts of far great value and importance than toys. You taught us the value and importance of resilience, strength and courage to face whatever challenges came our way in the future. You role-modelled a strong moral compass by which we too should live good and meaningful lives as decent people who care deeply for family and others who need help. You quietly gave us unconditional love - you didn't need to say it, and we didn't need you to because we just knew you did.
So some would say we were poor but in fact we were rich beyond measure because we had you - our amazing, remarkable mum.
