Beloved husband of Pamela, loved and loving father of Heather, Janet and Alison, treasured Da of Robert, Christopher, Richard, Andrew, Becky, Charlotte and John and a much loved brother in law and father in law. A private family service will be held on Monday 30th March 2020 followed by a Memorial Service on a date yet to be announced. I miss you so much! I googled your name to find articles about your time in the bank and other stories you'd told me about. Never did I think I would come across this website.

I am beyond gutted that I can not be at your cremation due to COVID-19 (p.s. your lectures on the importance of rationing have finally come in handy), however, I want you to know that I love you so much and I know that you are not far away from us all. For me you have always been more than Da (Grandad) you have been like a second Father and I wish I could give you one more massive hug and tell you how much I love you. I want you to know that we are all thinking of you and that we are NEVER going to forget you!

Thank you for all the lessons, laughs and long lasting memories which we will all hold with us forever. Rest in Peace Da, all of my love,
