MaryCRABTREE(Alice Lavinia). Passed peacefully away after a short illness at Bridgemead, St John's Road, Bath on February 9th, 2008. Much loved Mum of Miriam and Son in Law Paul, Nan to Stephen and Joanne and Great Nan to Amy. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Bartholomew's Church, King Edward Road, Bath on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 3.00 p.m., followed by cremation at Haycombe Cemetery. No flowers please but donations if wished to Bridge Care, c/o G.F. Hunt, 41 Livingstone Road, Bath, BA2 3PH. Wear bright colours please. No sombre clothes.

From the 1940's our lives have been richly punctuated with sky-blue aerogrammes from this inspiring Aunt. We learned of snow in our Australian summer time, (and so grasped the seasons), of princesses and coronations, and of our Father's "old country". Yes...there was a cousins "Crabtree Club" and later wonderful times together in England and Australia. Our memories are heartfelt. Mary, Joan, Kevin, Alison, Gemma, Paul, Hannah and Lachie.
