JohnCRABTREE(Jackie's partner of 22 years) John's family (Lomas / Crabtree) would like to convey their heartfelt thanks to colleagues, friends and neighbours for the many messages of sympathy following the recent loss of a wonderful partner, stepdad, brother, uncle, great uncle and grandad. Genuine thanks to everyone who attended John's funeral service and those who kindly sent donations to Willow Wood Hospice. Jackie is also very grateful to nephew Paul, niece Michelle and daughter-in-law Fiona for speaking so movingly about John's life. Special thanks to Minister Stuart Ferguson for his sincere and comforting ministrations which made the service so special. Particular thanks must go to all the inspirational staff at Willow Wood Hospice for caring for John with respect and good humour (which John appreciated) and also to the district nurses for tending to his needs during his illness. A sincere thank you to funeral directors, N.Gill (inc G&E Rayment), especially Stephen Wardle, for the respect and dignity shown to the family at this difficult time. Finally, thanks to staff at Old Aldwinians Rugby Club for the lovely catering and hospitality.
