Dr. David M.D.COULTERDr. David Coulter, aged 94. A retired GP, passed away peacefully at home on 17th October 2018. David was a kind, brave and gentle man, a well regarded family doctor who worked in the Bridgend area for almost 40 years. Beloved father of Alison and Roger, dear husband of the late Alice. The funeral service will be held at Ewenny Priory Church on Thursday November 1st 12.15pm, followed by committal at Coychurch Crematorium 1.15pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Médecins Sans Frontières.

The Walker family, Sunnyside Road, Bridgend will never forget what Dr Coulter did for us in January 1959. My brother Ross , 3 months old, was stricken with an inability to breathe. It was after midnight and my parents were in a turmoil. A knock on the door heralded Dr Coulter who said that something made him think that he had to come to our house on his way home from another call out. Whatever that was , we were so thankful. That night he saved my brother who was suffering from bronchial pneumonia. My brother has just celebrated his 60th Birthday. Dr Coulter we will never forget you. Xx
