It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, grandmother and friend,
Lynne Cortes, who passed away peacefully on 1st May 2026, aged 74.
Lynne was a devoted wife to Joseph, a loving mother to Craig, Rachel and Nathan,
a cherished grandmother to Gabriella, and a dearly loved family member and friend to many.
She will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, warmth, strength, faith, and unwavering love for her family.
Lynne touched the lives of many through her generosity, humour and caring nature.
She loved nothing more than an outing, a day trip, a holiday or a special occasion spent with her family.
Her memory will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
The funeral service will take place at St. Mary's RC Church, Littleborough
on Thursday 21st May at 11.45am, followed by Committal at Rochdale Crematorium at 1.00pm.
Family flowers only please.
