Peacefully at Kincairney House, Perth on 30th December 2025, Douglas, beloved partner of Evelyn,
dearly loved father of Linda, Fiona and the late Eileen, adored grandpa of Jamie,
Jen and Ross, a dear father-in-law, brother and uncle.
Funeral service to be held at Perth Crematorium on
Friday 23rd January at 12 noon and thereafter at McDiarmid Park.
All family and friends are respectfully invited.
Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, may be given on leaving the crematorium to
New Rannoch, a local day centre for those suffering from learning disabilities or dementia.
Doug was a successful businessman and a talented sportsman, having been a goalkeeper for
St Johnstone in the 1950s and then an international bowler, who earned many Scotland caps and represented his country at the Commonwealth Games.
All in all, a life well lived.
He will be sorely missed.
