Mom, you were such an unselfish person. You looked after me and Nigel as kiddies, with such love and care. We were always given good food, kept safe and warm and cherished. The home you and Pappy made was full of love. I remember outings on high days to the Malvern Hills where we’d eat your carefully prepared picnic 🧺 It was so special and exciting. Christmas was amazing with tasty food and presents in a pillow case at the end of our beds. We would decorate the house and Christmas tree together. You were a devoted Mom and Nanna who loved children. You are not forgotten. Love you, Mom. Always xxx

Hello Mom, I imagined us all together today celebrating Pappy's birthday. Do you remember all the surprises we planned for him over the years? The best one was when we hired the vintage bus and everyone arrived on it outside your front door. Pappy was flummoxed to see all his family on a bus outside his house on a Sunday morning. That day was a perfect day - happy, sunny with lots of laughter. A good memory.

Today we will have a cup of tea, in a china teacup, to celebrate your life. We remember you in the kitchen, always wearing your apron, always offering a cuppa. Love you forever and a day. Keira and Janine xxxxx

Dearest Mom, today is the day I remember your passing and I have played your last moments with us over and over in my mind so many times. I dont like that memory. It is a painfully sad memory. From now on I wish to remember the best times, the happy times. I picture you dancing in the kitchen and singing along to Peter Skellern on a Sunday afternoon, throwing your head back in laughter, arriving on my doorstep on a Tuesday, never empty handed, checking we were warm enough and always telling us,'mind how you go!'. Oh how I miss those times, how I miss you, your voice, your scent. So, if I don't post on here, it doesn't mean I've forgotten. You asked me once never to forget you, that will never happen. You are in my heart and will always be a part of me. You are in my memories, recalled every single day. I wear your ring so that you come with me everywhere I go. My love for you is everlasting. I want to remember the memories filled with love. I will remember. Love you always, Janine xxx
