StevenCOLLINGEMr Steven Antony Collinge, born 1954 in Mytholmroyd, died peacefully at home in Accrington on Thursday, January 20, aged 67. He attended Barden secondary school, Burnley, and undertook an apprenticeship as a joiner. He also worked for Michelin Tyres in Burnley. Moving to Accrington in 1992, he married Fiona in June 1996. He worked for Red Row Homes, Wilcon Homes, Hazelwood Construction, TMS, and he retired from Russkell Upholstery. Steve supported Burnley FC and was a member of Burnley Road Bowling Club. He enjoyed fishing with his friends, and holidays with family. Beloved son of the late Philip and Audrey Collinge, he leaves behind wife Fiona, son Stephen, stepchildren Terry, Sinead, Rebecca and her husband Pete, much loved grandchildren Aiden and Robin, his brother Michael and wife Cath, their daughters Haley and Hollie, and their families. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, February 4, at 10.20am.
