To my lovely Nan,
You left that sad Tuesday morning,
without any type of warning,
Now I’m left feeling heartbroken,
dwelling on the words left unspoken,
God took you suddenly to fly,
and I still can’t come to terms with as to why,
I really miss your witty humour,
and your lovely beaming smile,
It really lit up the room,
now the house feels empty,
As we lay you to rest,
I understand that God only takes the best,
I know that this is not the last goodbye,
Now it’s time to let you fly,
I love you Nan,
And miss you more than you could ever know,
May you rest in peace.
