Freddie and Melanie-Jane would like to thank all relatives and friends for the support, comforting words, cards of condolence and floral tributes they received following their recent sad loss of wife and mother, Sheila (nee Lawson). No words can convey the depth of gratitude we feel to all the medical team who attended to Sheila during her final weeks, especially our dedicated GP Dr. Caroline Watson (Thornfield), District Nurse, Sister Mary Beck and her colleagues (Thornfield), Dr. Alexa Clark and Nurse Lesley Robson (Palliative Care). You all went beyond the call of duty. A huge thank you to members of Hazlerigg Trefoil Guild and other Guiders for "Brownie Bells" and Guide Taps, thus fulfilling one of Sheila's dearest wishes. Many thanks to the Reverend Christine Crompton for leading the communion service and for her resume on Sheila's life - some of which surprised more than a few of those who attended to pay their respects. Our thanks also to Jed Devlin of Co-operative Funeralcare for the funeral arrangements and to James and his staff at the New Kent Hotel for the reception following the service. Finally, thanks to all who donated to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation in memory of Sheila.
