HélèneCHAPMANPassed away peacefully at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, on 3rd September 2025, aged 73 years.

A loving and much-loved wife, mother and grandmother.

Funeral service at St John's Church, Frome, on Thursday 9th October at 11.30 am, followed by interment.

Family flowers only, please.

Hélène was my colleague when I worked at Alliance Française in Stony Stratford. She was a pleasure to work with being so knowledgeable. Her calm, her patience and kindness inspired me. My thoughts are with the family.

Our friendship with Helene started in 1982 when our children first started school in Shenfield Essex. Over the years, we have stayed good friends and had a number of very happy holidays together. Helene was always kind and gentle.We will miss you until we meet again.

Hélenè was my beautiful friend .She was my first true friend on coming to Frome.
She was a much loved wife mother and cherished grandmother.I will always remember the welcome she gave me as a guest in her home when she helped me keep up with my french language.She was so kind and patient.I will miss her so much.She is at peace now.
