PeterCARTLEDGEOn Sunday 25th August 2019, peacefully in a local nursing home, Peter aged 83 years. Beloved and loving Husband of Olwen, loving Father of Simon and Jonathan, loving and devoted Grandfather of Luke, Caitlin, Amelia, Rachel and William and a dear Father-in-Law to Louise and Laura and a dear Brother of John. Peter formerly worked in the family business, Cartledge's bakers and confectioners and later at British Industrial Sand in Chelford. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. The Funeral Service will take place at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday 24th September at Macclesfield Methodist Church followed by a private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the ALEX Project (Parkinson's UK) Macclesfield or The Pallottine Missionary Sisters.
