I am so sorry to very belatedly learn of Neil's death. He was my husband's and my friend, as well as our arboriculturalist and my husband and Neil loved exchanging jokes. My condolences to all the family,

Was in the same class as Neil from 1968-1974. He was a great laugh, even trusting myself and another class mate with his tandem. As already mentioned on here, it was the second death we have heard about in our school group in the last few days. Look after the trees up there Neil, fond memories. RIP x

So sad to hear of Neil’s passing. We were at school together and I will always remember going on bike rides with him. He was always kind and friendly and our little group of friends had some good times together. 💐

How very sad to learn this. We were in the same class at Hedley Walter - he was a nice lad. We met again a few years ago as he used to cut Mum's trees, and he was waiting in her living room when I called in. We were Facebook friends, though he seldom posted, he did comment on some of mine. He's the second 'lad' from our class I've learned of this week. Very sad. Condolences to his family and friends.

Was so sad to hear this. Neil was my neighbour during my childhood. I will always remember the lovely chat we had a few years ago; he had a good sense of humour and made me laugh. Rest in peace, Holly Duncan x
