George AlexanderCALDERGeorge Alexander Calder, our much loved Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad, sadly passed away on May 5th 2024. Born July 12th 1928 in Winston Green, Birmingham. He was a true Brummie through and through, which he held dear throughout his life. George loved the cinema from a young age, particularly Westerns. This love remained for the rest of his life. He enjoyed lively conversations and provided cherished moments with family and friends when discussing his love of this. Independent and headstrong; George enriched the lives of those around him. Not only a devoted father, but an understanding and supportive man. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and all those who had the privilege to know him. Although we are sad to say goodbye, his spirit continues with our fond memories and the love shared with him. It was an honour to of had him in our lives. We choose to celebrate his life on June 30th at 12pm - 3pm at the Garden House, Edgbaston. Please RSVP to jnhut@aol.com by 19th June.
