Today the flowers you gave me grow in my garden,
I can hear the children's laughter - but you are not here mum.
Every day when I listen to the dawn chorus, when I smell the flowers, I want to thank you mum.
Thank you for loving me unconditionally, for always sitting on my shoulder, and for being the very best of mums.
