Frederick ThomasBUCKTONDied peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Beloved son of the late Margaret and Frederick Buckton, dear brother, uncle, great uncle & friend to many.

The funeral service is on Monday 1st June at 11:45am at St Andrew's, Teesville followed by internment at Eston Cemetery. The wake will be at the Eston and Normanby Social Club and all are welcome.

Fred's least favourite colour was black so please come formally dressed with a touch of red (for his love of Middlesbrough Football Club).

A donation box will be available at the wake for the amazing care given to him by Eston District Nurses.

All flowers to be delivered to Fawcett & Hetherington Eston prior to Freddy's funeral.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Freddie every Friday morning for a number of years at the Redcar exercise class. Putting the world to rights, talking about how bad Boro were the week before and having a good laugh every week.
A true gentleman, great crack and will be sadly missed by all in the group.

I met Freddie in 1976 at Wilson Walton and over the years Onshore & Offshore but mainly at the Riverside before home games where we'd catch up and discuss Boro's chances of promotion. A true gentleman RIP Freddie.
