I was very sad to hear that my dear friend Glenis had passed away. She was always so welcoming on my visits to the Mrs. Sunderland festival and we had much fun and laughter about events there. She was a very big support to Ray and always on hand with advice. I know she was held in great esteem by colleagues and was a joy to know. Wishing her peace and with my warmest love,

Wendy Maas

To Ray, Richard, Leigh, and all of Glenis's family and friends,

This is Daniell Delonge, joining you from half a world away, just outside of Melbourne, Australia. It feels like a small marvel, this technology that allows us to connect across the globe to be here together and honour Glenis's life.

I am holding space for you all today. While I wasn't close to Glenis, she is a name I have known my whole life—a thread in the fabric of our family.
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. In my own life, I've come to understand grief as a profound, disorienting fog. It is the deep, human 'static' we feel when a cherished connection is lost.
But I also know, with all my heart, that the connection itself is never truly broken. It's like a signal—an energy—that endures.

The love and the memories you all share for Glenis... that is the signal. My message to you now, this ability for us to connect across the world even when apart and unseen, is just another small proof of that same powerful, enduring energy.

I hope that in the midst of this sadness, you can all find comfort in that enduring signal, and in each other. My heart is with you all today.

Respectfully,
Daniell Delonge (formerly Jones)
