A year ago my brave darling Dad took his last breath and it is one of the hardest things I have and will ever experience. I can't belive a year has passed already, it seems a lifetime ago which really hurts. The wonderful and desperately sad memories will be with me always.

Thank you to my beautiful, brave inspiring Dad. Thank you for giving me the privilege to have been your Daughter. I am so proud of you and I will love you and always I miss you deeply until we meet again x God Bless xx

Wish I could visit heaven
If only for a while
To hold you in my arms once more
To hear your laughter
To see you smile
To tell you how much I love you
How much I miss you so
To hold you in my arms
And never let you go
Wish I could visit heaven
To make sure you were ok
There was so much left unsaid
So much i want to say
I think about you all the time
How I wish that you were here
Though I cannot see you
I know that you are near
I keep a little piece of you
Forever in my heart
It helps me to remember
That we are not that far apart
Wish I could visit heaven
For I know what I would do
You would be there with open arms
And I would run to you
I would hold you really close
And never let you go
For I have loved and missed you
More than you will ever know
But now you are and angel
As beautiful as can be
You sit there on your cloud
Just watching over me
One day we will meet again
When the time is right
When I step out of the darkness
You will be standing in the light
