Deryck William Brandon
Deryck Brandon passed away on Tuesday 16th June 2026, at the Royal Derby Hospital, aged 83 years.
Deryck was a kind and caring, husband, dad, brother and grandfather. he had a large and loving family both here in Derbyshire and further afield in Canada. Deryck devoted much of his life to farming and will be fondly remembered by friends throughout the farming community.
He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife, Jean: his loving sons, Mark and Paul, and their wives, Alli and Tracy; his daughter Jo, and her husband Matt. He was also a much-loved grandfather to Dominic, Lucas, Autumn, and her husband, Connor. Deryck will be sadly missed by his sisters, Hazel and Vanessa, together with Rachel, Steve, Nancy, Den and Jean as well as his nieces and nephews and all his family and friends.
Deryck's funeral service will take place at Amber Valley Crematorium on Friday 17th July 2026 at 1pm followed by a celebration of his life at The Dog at Pentrich.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Deryck for Asthma and Lung UK may be given at the service or forwarded to W. Jones & Son, Funeral Directors, Main Road, Brailsford, Ashbourne, DE6 3DA.
