DewiBOWENPeacefully on the 16th June, Dewi sadly passed away, aged 93. Brother-in-law of Gwynfa, loving uncle of Ann, Elizabeth, Ioan Wynne and Llÿr. He will be greatly missed by all his family, many friends and pupils. Funeral service to be held Thursday 1st July at 12:30pm at Hen-Dy-Cwrdd Chapel, Cefn Coed then 1:30pm at the Crematorium at Llwyd Coed. Donations received in lieu of flowers for the Stroke Association c/o Carwyn Iles Funeral Services - office@harpfunerals.co.uk

Dewi was my art teacher at Cyfarthfa in the 1970s - he was a real inspiration, leading me to a career in television and a life long love of art. Dewi was one of life’s true characters, I kept in touch over the years and he would frequently turn up in the least likely places - it was always a joy, he always had a sparkle and always me with a broad grin. A great man & a great life✨
