Dear Steve, a cruel thing happened when you were taken from your family, far too young. You were such a character and provided us with many a laugh. Thank you for welcoming Stu (and us) into your family xx

Steve, you were taken too early but we are pleased that you are no longer in pain. May you rest in peace knowing what a wonderful family you have created. I am sure you are so proud of how they have coped the last few months and continue to do so by loving and supporting each other xxx

Good people seem to die young. Steve Boatman was taken so that he wouldn't have to suffer ever again. Although sad and painful for his family, they are his wonderful legacy, a wonderful gift to this world. Be assured you, his family, are surrounded by people who will gladly take on the mantle of loving parents, friends and well wishers under Steve's guidance from above. I didn't know your father that well, but I know what a wonderful family he created and how much he is missed by those who knew and loved him.
