Dr HowardBLOOMDr Howard Bloom passed away peacefully on 22nd February at East Surrey Hospital. He was a well-known and respected member of the community. A local GP since 1981, he had worked at Southgate and Gossops Green Surgeries. Becoming a Councillor in 1984, and again in 2006, he played an active role in Crawley Borough Council serving as Mayor in 2008 and Leader in 2013. Howard was deeply involved in St Johns Ambulance, with over 30 years of service, formally the Assistance Chief Commander. He will be missed by his family, especially his wife Sue and 4 children David, James, Samantha and Sarah. A funeral service will be held at The Church of St Nicholas in Charlwood on the 11th March at 12:30. Everyone is welcome.
