Alvin RueBLACKWOODOriginally from Ferguslie Park, Alvin was a long time resident of Glenburn, Paisley.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at ACCORD Hospice on 20th October 2025, aged 58 years.

Beloved loved father of Rachael and David and father-in-law to Ryan, a treasured grandfather to Jacob and Eva, also a dear brother, uncle and friend to many.

Funeral service to take place on Thursday 13th November at Paisley Abbey at 11am, followed by committal at Woodside Crematorium at 12 noon.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if so desired, will be gratefully received for ACCORD Hospice in memory of Alvin.

A family man and highly dedicated public servant of the NHS, he will be sorely missed by all.
