EdwardBIRTLESTed Passed away peacefully in Bassetlaw Hospital aged 100 years. A loving Husband and Father. Funeral service will take place at Babworth Crematorium on Monday 23rd September at 1.00pm. I will never forget you Uncle Ted, you were my dad's best friend, meeting each other in the R.A.F. in the 1940's.
You gave me away at my wedding, there was only one person that could have filled my dad's shoes and that was you.
I was so pleased that we got to visit you just a week before you passed, your final words to me were the same as always, 'Bye bye darlin'
Bye bye uncle Ted, you will be remembered always xx
