James AlfredBIRCHOn the 21st July 2026 at Chesterfield Hospital, Alf, aged 90 years, passed away.

Beloved and devoted husband of Joyce, cherished dad of Nigel and Chris, dearest father-in-law of Julie and Catherine, treasured grandad of Alex, Joe, Eve and Thomas, much loved great-grandad of Wilf, Ginny, Harry and Millie.

A friend to many, Alf will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Funeral service and burial service to be held at St Michael & All Angels Church, Taddington on Friday 4th September at 12 noon. Those wishing to attend please accept this invitation and kindly meet at the church.

Family flowers only please. Any donations in memory of Alf would be gratefully appreciated to The British Heart Foundation or The Air Ambulance Service.
