StanBIRCHStan’s family would like to thank all those who came to his funeral on 5th May and to everyone who sent messages of condolence on his passing. All of this gave us comfort, fond memories and smiles. We would also like to thank G. Seller Funeral Directors for their wonderful support and advice. Also to the Salvation Army, especially Major Stephen Battle. For welcoming us all and giving Stan the service he would have wanted. Particular thanks go to Elmlea Hotel, Ashby Road for organising such a personalised get together for Stan’s family and friends. The lovely venue, the display of photographs, the highly relevant music and delicious food helped us close the day with a special celebration of Stan’s life.
