RaymondBIBBYOn Tuesday, August 10, Raymond passed away suddenly at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, aged 79. Raymond leaves behind his devoted wife Rosalyn of 55 years, also a dear brother to Derek, sister-in-law Pauline, a loving uncle to his nephews Paul, Simon, Stephen and David, also great-uncle and great, great-uncle to many of his nephews and nieces. Raymond served his time as a painter and decorator and had a short stint working in the printer industry, before returning back as painter and decorator until his retirement. Raymond was a keen gardener and was also a passionate singer who loved to sing every morning at any given opportunity. His family would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to the paramedics and hospital staff at The Royal Blackburn Hospital and Blackpool Victoria Hospital for taking the best care of Raymond. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. His funeral will take place at St Paul’s Church, Accrington on Wednesday, August 25, shortly followed by committal at Accrington Crematorium. Donations can be made in memory to Maundy Grange in Accrington. Family flowers only please. Funeral director: Wolstenholme Funeral Service, Accrington.
