ElizabethBEVANM.B.E. It is with much sadness that the family announce the passing of Elizabeth on April 30, 2008. Elizabeth was the beloved wife of Terry and mother of Tony. She was widely respected and loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Elizabeth was awarded the M.B.E. in 2000 for a lifetime of service to Primary Health Care in South Wales, although she insisted, in all humility, that she accepted the award on behalf of all nursing staff. Elizabeth was an enthusiastic member of the Nationchangers Church and the family would like to thank Mr Stephen Dorricott and Mr Richard Dalley for jointly officiating at a very moving service. The well-attended funeral was held at Llwydcoed Crematorium on May 8, 2008, and was conducted with dignity by Gilbert James Funeral Directors. Terry and Tony would particularly like to thank relatives, neighbours, church members and friends who have been, and continue to be, immensely supportive. "I am waiting for you for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well."
