In Memory of Sue

Sue was not only my sister-in-law, she was a lifelong friend — someone who had been part of my life for almost 60 years.

When I think of Sue, I will always remember her as that trendy girl from the 60s, full of life, fun and laughter.

I often think back to those great times around 56, at my parents’ house. All of us brothers — Alan, Des and Rob — together with Sue and Jen, singing along and enjoying ourselves. I would sit there with my old tape deck, recording those singalongs and capturing moments that, at the time, we never imagined would become such precious memories.

Those were special days, and looking back now, I realise just how lucky we were to have shared them.

Sixty years of friendship is a lifetime of memories — laughter, music, family, good times and so many moments that will stay with me forever.

Sue, you were so much more than my sister-in-law. You were a true friend, and I will always be grateful that you were part of my life.

You will be greatly missed, but you will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully, Sue.
Thank you for 60 wonderful years of friendship.
