The niece Jenny and the nephews Alan and Billy would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the management and staff of the George Eliot Hospital, especially Doctors and Nurses on the Dolly Winthrop Ward who provided excellent care for Doug during his time there and to all nurses that called to Doug at home during his illness. Your kindness and caring nature never went unnoticed. Our sincere appreciation to Rev Barry Jacques for his kind, comforting words during the service and to Hackett's Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified way in which they handled Doug's funeral, and particularly a special word of thanks to Brian Shears for all his help. It will never be forgotten. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
