The family of the late Vera Bailey of Leek and formerly Birches Head wish to thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for their support, very kind messages of sympathy, cards and generous donations to the League of Friends at Leek Moorlands Hospital received at this time. Special thanks to the staff of ward 2 at Cheadle Hospital for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Vera and her family during her brief time with them. Thank you also to Rev. Richard Pope who conducted the funeral service, to David H. Smith for his help with the funeral arrangements and to his staff who acted as bearers.
