GeoffreyASPINPeacefully in hospital on 16th August 2019, Geoff aged 80 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and much loved husband of Gerry, loving father of Mark, dear father-in-law of Naomi and cherished grandad of Katie and Phillipa. Over the years, Geoff worked at Allspeeds in Clayton-le-Moors and at GEC, starting as an Apprentice Engineer and working his way up to Machine Inspector. Geoff always involved himself in work activities and played for their teams and made many good friends along the way. A keen sportsman, Geoff followed Burnley Football Club and Accrington Stanley and Accrington, Church and Oswaldtwistle Cricket Club as well as being a keen golfer and former member of Gt Harwood Golf Club. He loved his garden, wildlife and flowers. An avid traveller, Geoff enjoyed visiting many places all over the world. He enjoyed both sightseeing and relaxing on cruise ships and Majorca was his favourite holiday destination. Family was also very important to Geoff and he will be dearly missed. Geoff's funeral service will be held on Thursday 22nd August 2019 at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA at 2.20pm.
