BrianASHWORTHPassed away peacefully at home on Saturday 18th April, aged 83 years. Loving husband of Astrid, much loved father to Diane, Dale and Tracey. Father in law to Pete and Danny, brother to Joyce, Brother in law to Geoff and Donald, much loved Grandad and Great Grandad and a good friend to many. He will be missed but never forgotten. Due to the current circumstances a small family only service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Monday 4th May at 3.00pm. A memorial celebration will be held at the soonest opportunity for all of Brian's friends & family to celebrate his life, as soon as it is safe to do so. Family flowers only. So sad to read of Brian's passing. Brian (nick name Pasha) and I lived in Turkey St/Norfolk Street respectively and we were the best of mates in the 1950s. Now living in the south it's several years since we last met up and shared a pint, or two, in the Peel Park pub. I've many happy memories of Brian and send my very deepest sympathy to his family. I'm living too far away from when the memorial celebration will be held but I will be with you all in spirit. Gerry.
