JohnASHTON(TASHBO) Of Great Harwood passed away peacefully in his sleep, at home on the 17th July 2020 at the age of 71. The soulmate and dearIy loved husband for almost 49 years of Jean, devoted & deeply loved father of Andrea & Peter & dearly loved brother to Irene, Maureen, Dorothy, Jean, Liz & the late Vernon, Terry, Kevin & Barbara. Brother in law & uncle to his many nieces & nephews as well as a friend to many. A life well lived, loved and respected by so many, he will be deeply missed. A private celebration of his life will be held on Thursday 30th July at 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium. Due to the current restrictions the numbers inside the crematorium will be limited and by invitation only, although people are welcome to stand outside with social distancing. Family request no flowers or donations to charities but in honour of John's memory that you be kind and look after one another.
