26 years ago today. The year 2000. The Geordie Golden Girls rocked on down to Gateshead Stadium to the Jersey Boys. From the introduction of We Will Rock You into Livin' On A Prayer up to the last song, Keep The Faith, we were rocked all night. We even saw Arnie, Matt and Emilio. Mary said her MS seemed to disappear when they we on. I leaped up when Richie changed his guitar on Wanted. The fireworks 🎆 at the end were spectacular. The lithograph is still on the wall. A magical night and magical memories. Blood On Blood.

Another year, another birthday without you.
It doesnt get any easier my darling.
I still see things when Im out shopping and think "oh Mary will like that I'll put it away for her birthday"

32 years ago today. The Summer of '94.
Another great line up. Jimmy Barnes, GUN, The Pretenders and Bryan Adams "doing the business" as Alan Robson said. It was the World Cup final and Bryan put it on for a moment on the big screens. We still have the photo up of Bryan from then. Good job I waved my Nicky Wire white sunglasses in the air so you could find me in the mosh pit. Rockin moments and rockin memories.

34 years ago today. Our first ever rock concert and what a concert. Little Angels, Squeeze, Extreme and Bryan Adams. We heard your going out song live for the first time and heard it everytime we saw Bryan as well as Everything I Do, 7 times we saw the film at the pictures. We also saw Extreme again later that year and the others many times more. It was the start
of over a hundred gigs we went to. Special days and special memories.
