Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on 4 October 2025. Beloved husband of Sue, much-loved father of Wayne and Donna, and cherished Grandad to Maisie, Violet and Sidney.

Selwyn touched the lives of so many - through his work in business, his involvement in village life, and the friendships he built along the way. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service to celebrate Selwyn's life will be held at St John the Baptist Church, Boylestone on Monday, 10 November at 12:00 noon.

Family flowers only.

If you wish to honour Selwyn's memory, donations are warmly welcomed to two causes close to his heart -
Derby County Community Trust and the Injured Jockeys Fund - reflecting his lifelong passions for sport, community, and helping others.

Following the service, all are warmly invited to join the family at The HollyBush, Church Broughton, to raise a glass in celebration of Selwyn's life and the wonderful memories he leaves behind.
