Deepest sympathies to Paul, Daniel, Matthew & family. We remember the great times we had with our families growing up together and the lovely welcome we had from Rachel as we arrived in our removal van for the first time in Cherry Grove, and the many happy memories since over 20+ years since.
With much love, family Elwin

We met through our sons’ shared love of rowing, and over time our boys became partners on the water. Many hours were spent sitting side by side on riverbanks, watching them train, compete, and grow. Those moments will always stay with me.

Rachael was a truly warm and welcoming lady. She had a kindness that shone through in everything she did, and on more than one occasion, she offered me comfort and gentle words during the difficult time of my husband’s declining health. She had a way of lifting my spirits when I needed it most, and I will always be grateful for that.

I am so very saddened to hear that this wonderful lady is no longer with us. My heart goes out to Paul, Daniel, and Matthew — I am sending you all my love during this incredibly difficult time.

Although Rachael never had the chance to meet my husband, she helped me through so much, and I like to think they will now have met — perhaps sharing a good old chin wag, reminiscing about the boys and their rowing adventures.

Rachael will be remembered with warmth, gratitude, and great fondness. She will be deeply missed.
