In times such as these,
There come moments of clarity.
What I loved about you,
Was your devotion to charity.
The love in your heart,
Was incredibly vast.
And it pains me so deeply,
That your time has now passed.
But there's new friends up there,
And I know you'll make many.
You'll walk in the park again,
With Holly and with Penny.
There'll be no more heartache,
Nor darkness, nor sorrow.
There will always be sunshine,
But alas no tomorrow.
There will only be laughter,
No fear, no uncertainty.
Just peace, joy and kindness,
For all of eternity.
I will miss you very much. Not taking the chance to reconcile is something that will stay with me forever. I hope you like your lanyard, your letter, and the pictures of DG and I. I'll do my best to make you proud.
