Phillip DavidVINCENT-BETTSWith broken hearts, we announce the passing of Phill Vincent-Betts, who sadly left us on 16th March 2026.

Words cannot describe the emptiness we feel. Phill was a gentleman who adored his family. A wonderful, caring, kind, generous, compassionate, charismatic, funny, and above all, a very loving husband to Bernie; son to the late Gladys and Eric Betts; son-in-law to Tom and Brieda Vincent; father to Matt and Vicky; father-in-law to Hayley and Steve; grandfather to Jack; brother to Steve and sister-in-law Steph; brother to the late Helen and brother-in-law Maurice; uncle to Richard and partner Cheryl; Sally and husband Tom; Jayne and husband Andrew; Fayth and partner Kaine; Jacob and partner Abbi and baby Dylan; brother-in-law to Chrissie; uncle to Seb and wife Sam, Indie and Teale; Lozz and partner Lauren and Neala; Sophie and Audrey; Jess; Joshua and Robyn; cousin, nephew, and friend to many.

Phill had been in sales for his entire career, starting at British Gas when he was 16 years old, but for the last 25 years of his career, he had his own company that concentrated on B2B telemarketing, mainly in the NHS health sector. He was extremely well thought of by colleagues and customers alike, full of ideas and always willing to help and share them.

Phill was a tremendous fighter; the strength and bravery he showed to endure the painful procedures he underwent for over 2 years were quite incredible. He never moaned and was always smiling and very cheerful despite the challenges he faced. Forever in our hearts, he will be greatly missed. The world was a better place with Phill by our side. Can't imagine a life without him.

The funeral will take place on Thursday 16th April at 9.45am at St Thomas' Church, Tamworth Road, Coventry, CV6 2EL, followed by a committal at 11.15am at Canley Crematorium, Cannon Hill Chapel, Cannon Hill Road, Coventry, CV4 7DF.

Donations are welcomed in Phill's memory for the British Liver Trust. These can either be left in the donation box at the exit of the church or made online via Funeral Notices at www.franklinfunerals.co.uk

The funeral was a great tribute to an all-round amazing man. Sharing our memories can make us sad for what we have lost, and grateful for what we had.
