Alex was such a kind and pleasant man. I did not know him that well, but I know he was loved by many, and I hope this will bring you comfort Donna. He will be missed.

I only met and worked with Alex over the last few years, but I knew of him through his work before that. He has left a legacy that will forever have an impact on improving road safety. The public might not realise it, but maybe that is the perfect tribute for an unassuming, genuine, warm and gentle guy. He will be missed professionally, but clearly more so personally. My love and thoughts to his family and close friends.
