Charles EdwardSCURRAffectionately known as Ted to all who knew and loved him, passed away peacefully on 7th June, aged 82, following a courageous battle with dementia.
A devoted husband to his beloved late wife, Magsy, proud and much-loved father to Amanda, Tracy, and Rebecca, and wonderful Grandad to Andrew, Caitlin, Sam and Daniel. Ted also treasured the friendship of long-time close friend Martin.
Funeral service to take place at 1pm on Wednesday 24th June at St Bede's Chapel Teesside Crematorium.
Family flowers only please by request, donations in lieu if desired are to Dementia UK.

Ted leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family would like to express their extra special thanks to Leah, whose kindness, support, and unwavering care meant the world to Ted and to us. Also, a huge thanks to the staff of Woodside Grange care home in Thornaby who were all amazing in caring for Dad in his last 14 months. We will be forever grateful.
He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered always.
