I had the pleasure of spending many years at school with Darren and playing in some of the same football teams.
Always smiling, a pleasure to have grown up with, and a fantastic team mate and person.
I have many happy memories and look back fondly at those times with Darren. Rest in peace.

Fond memories of football matches on Heywood astroturf pitch in the late 1990s/early 2000s.

A fellow Blue (there weren’t many of us around back in the day), my sincere condolences to Lyn and the boys x

You always knew what you were going to get with Darren. Usually a few laughs over a few more beers. A standup guy, great humour and sincere to the core. His circle is huge and many many people will have stories to tell. The world will be a poorer place without him in it. Thoughts are with Lyn, the lads, family and friends Xx
Rest easy Daz.
