Glenroy HubertREIDGlen, aged 73 years and from Crewe, but born in Jamaica, passed away peacefully in hospital with his family at his bedside, following a long illness.

The cherished dad to Daniella and Jordan, devoted grandad to George and Cilla and much loved brother to Benelta, Iris, Wilfred, Millicent and Annesta, Glen will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at Crewe Crematorium Chapel on Thursday 6th August at 11:30 am.

Family flowers only please with donations, if desired, to Cancer Research UK.

I was so sad to hear the heartbreaking news that you had passed away. You were a dear friend, and I will always remember the fun times we shared, especially our clubbing and dancing days. The laughter, the music and the memories we made will stay with me forever.

I’m so sorry we never got the chance to catch up again, but I’m grateful for the memories we had and I will never forget them.

I hope you still have your dancing shoes on, Herbie, and that you’re dancing away wherever you are.

Rest peacefully. You will be sadly missed but always remembered. Bonnie ♥️ 🎶
