The obituary notice of Sjef MOLMANS

Sjef was a very friendly and hospitable man. I remember on one occasion just after Luke was born back in 2005 and Geraint, Aaron, Matthew and I came to visit you in your Croydon home. Sjef was so excited about becoming a parent and he wanted to let everyone know about Luke. He had decorated the front room window with banners saying “It’s a boy” and I think there were balloons as well. We were offered drinks and snacks and Sjef wanted us to try this Dutch biscuit which had aniseed balls on top (which went everywhere and made a bit of a mess!) I think Aaron and Matthew, who were 6 and 8 at the time, took one bite and said that they didn’t like them. However Geraint and I thought we should be polite and eat these biscuits even though we thought they were horrible too!!
Just one silly story to remind us of how kind and generous Sjef was. It was a pleasure to have known him and he will be greatly missed, with lots of love to Liz, Luke and Thale from Rachel, Geraint, Aaron, Matthew and Amy Williams xxx
