EddieMCCABEPeacefully at home surrounded by his wife and children on the 11th of July 2025, aged 58 years.

Much loved husband to Louise, loving dad to Luke and Caitlin, brother to Mary, Rita, Patricia and Helen, son-in-law to Derek, brother-in-law, uncle and a good friend to many.

Would family and friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Thursday the 31st of July 2025 at 12noon for service and committal.

Family flowers only please, donations in Eddie's memory are gratefully accepted for 'Macmillan' and 'Lindsey Lodge Hospice' c/o

Had the pleasure of working with Eddie in my early days in the NHS many years ago now. Always a friendly face to talk to when I came into the finance office. Thoughts to his family at this time.

Had the pleasure of working with Sir Eddie in Grimsby in the early days of PCT/CTP. A lovely guy who always had time to explain the complex workings of finance to you. Deepest condolences to his family.
