There are so many words that can be used to describe Paul gentle, kind, caring, loving, understanding, generous, genuine but my favourite is patient. How many times did you tell me I didn’t need my script on stage and how many times did I sneak it on any way and you never got cross. One of my favourite Panto memories was playing your furry wife in Goldilocks and the 3 bears and who can forget the slutty squaws who stood by their man. Carl always appreciated that you saw him as a part of the panto family in his own right and not just my husband. Our lives are all the richer for having known you

It was such a privilege to know Paul. He was a truly kind and gentle man, always so welcoming and inclusive, and someone who made people feel part of things.
Through the pantomime, he inspired so many of us, not just with his talent and dedication, but with the way he brought people together. We feel very lucky to have been part of that family and to have shared so many lovely memories.
