David was a wonderful neighbour. He warmly welcomed us when we moved in next door in 2017. He was a true gentleman who was very kind and thoughtful. The neighbourhood will not be the same without him. Our thoughts and condolences to all his family and friends. Rest in peace. Best wishes, Firzana and Umar.

The condolences and contributions from all those who attended David’s service today.

Special thank you to Taylor’s for their support and professional Service.

The celebrant John Terry gave a thoughtful and caring tribute that was very touching and David would have been very proud of the arrangements.
Heartfelt thank you for attending today x

I had the pleasure of working for and with David for a couple of years in York immediately before his retirement. He was a principled, dedicated and hard working officer who always had the soldiers’ best interests at heart. I enjoyed his ‘dits’, his company and his humour. Life can be cruel - god bless you David. A life well lived but taken too soon. Colin
